Reports:

• Anthony gave a report on the events organised by the group in the previous year.
• Raymond gave a financial report detailing the previous years expenditure and usage patterns.
• It was agreed that the group would request the department match the funding supplied by UMPA.
• Anthony Senyard proposed acceptance of the reports, Raymond seconded, passed unanimously

• Changing the constitution to reflect the needs of members re: memberships. Rather than having to pay a membership fee or fill out a form membership is based on enrollment and active participation in a CSSE postgraduate course. This effects section 4 of our constitution.
• A proposal to accept this change made by Anthony Senyard, seconded by Jason Thomas and passed unanimously.
• Changing the constitution to regarding notification of AGM. We decided that post graduates read email as their primary communication. For this reason we will change notification of AGM to emailing pgrad@cs.mu.oz.au. We also want to shorten the notification time from 10 days to 5 days. This stops people forgetting the meeting is on.
• A proposal to accept this change made by Anthony Senyard, seconded by Jason Thomas and passed unanimously.
• The position of office bearers was voted upon. Elections are by nomination (from any member), followed by a vote of simple majority. The results of the elections are as follows:
• Treasurer: Shien Shin Tham (nominated by Anthony Senyard, seconded byt Inga Sitzmann) unaminously elected.
• President: Anthony Senyard (nominated Raymond Wan, seconded Peter Eckersley) unaminously elected.
• Secretary: Mike Liddell (nominated Jason Thomas, seconded David Overton) unaminously elected.
• Executive: Inga Sitzmann (nominated by Owen DeKretser, seconded Tim Ebringer) unaminously elected.
• Executive: Jason Thomas (nominated by Peter Eckersley, seconded Anthony Senyard) unaminously elected.
