  1. President's Report

    Zhou Wang reported on the activities organised by the Group over the previous year, including:

    • Two pizza lunches
    • End of semester graduation farewell (catered with Indian food)
    • Sports:
      • Soccer - organised by Bernie Pope
      • Chess - organised by Akshat Bhandari
      • Tennis - organised by Fan
    • Afternoon teas (terminated in Semester 2, due to lack of turnout)

  2. Treasurer's Report

    Thrishul (Treasurer 2002) presented the financial reports for the period beginning at the previous AGM and ending at the present one:

    • The Group has a $500 surplus
      Ammendment (Ben Rubinstein 2003-04-14): this figure did not include the pizza ordered for the AGM, which cost $149.50. The Group was actually in a surplus of $355.51 not $500.
    • A motion to accept this financial report was made, and was accepted by the attendees unanimously

  3. Committee Election

    All committee positions were put up for election. The election proceeded according to the Group's Constitution, with the following unanimous results:

    • Executive Committee Members
      • President - Ben Rubinstein
      • Secretary - Chirag Pathak
      • Treasurer - Zhou Zhu
    • Non-executive Committee Members
      (postgraduate representatives)
      • Liam Merlot
      • Srikumar Venugopal
      • Maia Hristozova

  4. UMPA Reaffilitation

    To maintain the Group's affiliation with UMPA, it must reaffiliate every year by March 31st.

    • Zhou Wang raised a motion to reaffiliate with UMPA
    • The motion was passed unanimously
    • The new committee will apply to UMPA for reaffiliation
