CSSEPG Committee Meeting Minutes

Items of Business:

Ryan welcomed everyone for the first full fledged committee meeting. Kapil volunteered to take the responsibility for the next postgrad tea.
Ryan brought up the issue about the current financial status and the events that need attention in the near future. The committee agreed to spend A$400/- in the following events as follows: A$50/- for LiveCoda’s prize money contribution, A$100/- for postgrad tea, A$150/- for BBQ (to be held in the future), A$100/- for other events.
As for other events, lots of possibilities including day trips, sports events etc were discussed. It was finally agreed that a day trip will be organized post August. The members promised to come up with a list of possible locations in the next meeting. It was also agreed the probable locations will be listed in the website and a poll can be held to choose the final destination.
Kapil came up with idea of holding intra level events like soccer, cricket etc. It was decided that the members would consult other postgrads in their levels and get feedback about the idea before implementing it.
Ryan then promised to update the website and get the Wikipedia up and running.

Next meeting: Last Friday of the month or the Friday before that.
