Postgraduate Seminar Series - Expectations from Post-Grads

We expect the post-grads to follow certain guidelines with regards to the seminars:

Please send e-mails to and not to individual seminar coordinators for quick and assured response. The coordinators change periodically, hence it is advisable to send emails to
Please note: due to excessive spam at the above email address, only email from .edu[.*] and .ac[.*] addresses will be accepted. Therefore, please use a university email address for correspondence with a seminar co-ordinator.
Always try to plan for a seminar at the usual post-grad seminar time slot which is every Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm .
Please send your interest to give a post-grad seminar at least 10 days before your planned schedule. It is required make sure that the room is available and the seminar is advertised well in advance.
In case it is not possible to schedule the seminar on the usual time slot (due to supervisor unavailability or any other reason), please contact 2 weeks before .
A seminar co-ordinator will arrange the room booking and attend the seminar to unlock the A/V cabinet and introduce the seminar only for seminars at the official timeslot (Friday 12pm). Speakers are free to make their own room bookings and arrangements for other times if necessary, in which case they only need to ask the seminar co-ordinator to advertise the seminar.
