Past Seminars: Past Seminars

The CS Postgraduate Seminar Series commenced in August 1994. The intention of this series of presentations is to provide a forum for Postgraduate students in the department to present an informative overview of their work and research interests to the rest of the department. They are not intended to be narrow, technical talks; rather, they are expected to be at a level that CS postgraduates (and staff) with different areas of interest should reasonably be able to follow.

From August 1994 until December 1996, Warwick Harvey coordinated the Postgraduate Seminar Series. From January 1997 until February 1998, Tim Bell coordinated the Postgraduate Seminar Series. David Jeffery took over that job at the beginning of 1998. Inga Sitzmann was coordinator from June 2000 to November 2001. Jun Liu was the coordinator from November 2001 to June 2003. Srikumar Venugopal & Chee Shin Yeo were the coordinators from June 2003 to May 2005. Amy Beth Corman & Shivaramakrishnan Narayan were the coordinators from May 2005 to March 2006. Amy Beth Corman & Mohammed Alauddin Bhuiyan from March 2006 to June 2006. Mohammed Alauddin Bhuiyan & Kapil Kumar Gupta from July 2006 to February 2007. Kapil Kumar Gupta and Marcos Dias De Assuncao from March 2007 to December 2007. Marcos Dias De Assuncao and Alex Stivala from January 2007 to April 2007. The current Postgraduate Seminar Coordinators are Hua Jie Lee & Alex Stivala. Thanks to all the people who support the Postgraduate Seminar Series.
